Accounting Specialist

The Town of Tyrone Finance Department is seeking an Accounting Specialist. This position is responsible for assisting the Finance Manager with all accounting tasks and the maintenance of the Town's financial records.

Engineering & Public Works Specialist

Salary Range: $55,000 - $61,000 DOQ

Join the Town of Tyrone team as an Engineering & Public Works Specialist! This role operates under the direct supervision of the Town Engineer/Public Works Director, coordinating CAD and GIS systems, managing infrastructure projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of the Town's essential services. From reviewing utility permit applications to conducting inspections and addressing inquiries, the Engineering & Public Works Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing the Town's roads, sewer systems, stormwater infrastructure, and more. Community Development Specialist

Salary Range: $37,648 - $44,741 DOQ

Join our dynamic team as the Community Development Specialist for the Town of Tyrone. A critical position within the Community Development Department, this position will coordinate land use applications, transcribe planning commission minutes, and assist with comprehensive and downtown planning activities. This role will also involve serving as the primary permit technician, ensuring accuracy and completeness of permits, and providing excellent customer service to building department inquiries. In addition, the Community Development Specialist will interact with Town citizens by coordinating public engagement, publishing updates on our town website, and contributing to the digitization of historic records. The ideal candidate will have a passion for public service, effective communication skills, and desire to make a positive impact to the Town.

Base Pay: $55,006.90 ($24.89/hr)
