Residential curbside trash and recycling in Tyrone is provided by our contract vendor, AMWaste.

Operation Plan:
- Residential Curbside Collection*: AMWaste conducts residential curbside pickup Monday - Thursday of each week. AMWaste will inform you of your pickup day when you establish service with them.
- Yard Waste Pickup: (Effective March 6, 2023) Yard waste collection will only take place on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. You DO NOT have to call in to schedule these pickups - just have your yard waste at the curb on the 1st or 3rd Monday.
- Bulk Item Pickup: (Effective March 6, 2023) This service will only take place on the 2nd Monday of each month. You MUST call AMWaste at 706-298-7274 ahead of time to notify them that you have bulk items needing to be picked up.
*AMWaste's service in Tyrone includes a "one-bin" solution – all trash and recyclables are bagged and placed into one bin.
