Help Plan Tyrone's 50th Founders Day Event!

Tyrone’s Founders Day celebration turns 50 in 2027 and we’re looking for citizens to help make it memorable!

The Town is accepting applications for a Council-appointed planning committee that will work with Town staff to contribute ideas, help with preparations, and bring community perspectives to this milestone celebration.

Whether you enjoy local history, entertainment, organizing volunteers, connecting with businesses, or simply lending a hand, we encourage you to apply. No event-planning experience is required - just enthusiasm for Tyrone and a willingness to participate.

Apply by November 20, 2026. 

Committee members will be appointed by the Town Council. Applicants should be willing to attend planning meetings and help with tasks between meetings.
