JenMeet the Line Dance Instructor Jen Glavosek

"Hi, I'm Jen Glavosek. I learned line dancing from a long-time teacher turned friend and have adopted my own teaching style along the way. "Dancing with your feet is one thing, but dancing with your heart is another." This is the best way I can describe my teaching philosophy. Never take it too seriously and don't worry about others watching you-dancing is meant to be a fun way to express yourself!"  My classes are on Tuesday evenings. Beginner class is from 6:30 to 7:30, and is designed for new beginners and those who are still learning the basic steps. My Improver/Intermediate class from 7:30 to 8:30 is for those who have some knowledge of the basic steps and want to improve their skills. We begin each month with new dances and build on those throughout the month, so although you can jump in at any time, it is best to start at the beginning of the month.
Class fees are $30/session or $45 if taking both levels. This is for four 1-hour classes. Registration can be done at the time of class and can be paid by cash, check, Venmo or Zelle.

I can be reached at 770-634-6160 or jen@hookedonlinedancing.com to answer any questions you may have. My Facebook page under Hooked On Line Dancing or my website at www.hookedonlinedancing.com.

Pilates Instructor

Meet pilates instructor Camber Dougher.

A decade ago, I embarked on my Pilates journey while searching for relief from back pain associated with scoliosis. My doctor recommended Pilates to help strengthen my core, with the hope that it would ease my discomfort. Eager for a solution, I began attending Pilates classes and quickly discovered how positively Pilates impacted both my physical and emotional well-being.

I obtained my certification as a Pilates mat instructor three years ago. I have found great fulfillment in teaching others and sharing the transformative benefits of Pilates.

Learn approachable routines, stay active and enjoy a welcoming social class. Not only is line dancing a great cardio exercise but it has wonderful cognitive benefits too! Learning step combinations enhances brain health and reduces stress at the same time.

About Zumba Dance

Zumba is a dance‑fitness class that blends Latin and global rhythms like salsa, merengue, and reggaeton with aerobic exercise. It’s designed to feel more like a high‑energy dance party than a traditional workout, making it accessible for all ages and fitness levels.

Benefits include a full‑body workout, improved coordination, and significant calorie burn—a 39‑minute class can burn around 369 calories. Zumba also boosts cardiovascular fitness, supports heart health, and helps build endurance thanks to its fast-paced choreography. Regular participation can lower blood pressure, improve mood, and aid weight management.
