One of the highlights of this year's festivities will be an afternoon and evening of outstanding live music on the main stage. From 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, festivalgoers will be treated to performances from three talented bands, bringing a mix of energy, entertainment, and crowd-pleasing favorites to the heart of the celebration.
Whether you're relaxing with family and friends, enjoying the festival attractions, or dancing along to the music, the Founders Day live entertainment lineup promises something for everyone. Featuring local and regional performers, these bands will showcase exceptional talent and create the perfect soundtrack for a memorable weekend in Tyrone. Founders Day Parade
Theme: “All Aboard Tyrone!”
Date: October 3, 2026
Check-in and lineup: 11:00 a.m. at Handley Park
Judging: 11:30 a.m.
Parade begins: 12:00 p.m.
Route: Handley Park to Tyrone Elementary School
Entry fee: $20 per entry
Application deadline: September 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Walking groups require prior Town approval. Horses are permitted, and participants may toss candy along the parade route.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Approved participants will receive payment and final event instructions from the Town.
The Founders Day Fireworks Finale is one of the most anticipated highlights of Tyrone’s annual celebration, bringing families and friends together for an unforgettable evening under the stars. As the grand conclusion to a day filled with community spirit, entertainment, and hometown pride, the dazzling display lights up the sky with vibrant colors and breathtaking bursts that captivate audiences of all ages. Children watch in amazement, parents share special moments with loved ones, and neighbors gather side by side to celebrate the traditions that make Tyrone such a special place to call home.
For many residents and visitors, the Founders Day fireworks finale has become a cherished family favorite and a beloved Founders Day tradition. The excitement builds as the countdown begins, creating a sense of anticipation that culminates in a spectacular show that leaves the crowd cheering. More than just entertainment, the fireworks symbolize the community’s shared history, unity, and pride, providing the perfect ending to a memorable day of celebration. Year after year, the Founders Day Fireworks Finale continues to create lasting memories and serves as a fitting grand finale to one of Tyrone’s most treasured events.
Founders Day Vendor Opportunities
Application deadline: September 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Food Truck Vendors
Food truck vendors may apply to participate on October 2, October 3, or both days. The vendor fee is $75. Approved food truck vendors may leave their rigs overnight. Vendors selling prepackaged food may participate on Saturday only.
Retail Vendors
Retail vendors may apply to participate on October 3. The vendor fee is $50. Participation on October 2 is limited to vendors directly invited for the car show.
Payment and Approval
Fees are due only after the Town approves an application. Approved vendors may pay by cash, check, or money order. Each approved vendor will receive payment instructions, an assigned check-in time, and final event information. Vendor check-in begins two hours before the event.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. The Town of Tyrone reserves the right to approve or decline applications.

Join us at the 2026 Founders Day Race
The 2026 Tyrone Founders Day 5K Run will be held on Saturday, October 3rd. Pre-registration 7-7:45am with the race starting at 8:00AM. The race starts and ends at the Tyrone Museum. The race proceeds help the Rotary Club of Tyrone do service projects in our community.

2026 Registration Information
Registration is now available for Founders Day parade participants, food truck vendors, and retail vendors. Review the applicable participation information before submitting an application.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. The Town of Tyrone will review each application and provide approved participants with payment and event instructions.
